Carlota Barrera
The principal purpose of the label is to explore modern silhouettes and reflect the classical techniques of tailoring and craftsmanship with a new design and visual approach. The garments merge the concepts of heritage and luxury imbuing them with the contemporary aesthetic of the modern man.
Carlota Barrera is a London-based designer and the current winner of the Vogue WON Fashion Fund 2019. Prior to the launch of her brand, Carlota graduated from her masters degree at London College of Fashion and developed her skills working in various high fashion houses. She made her debut for Spring Summer ‘19 with her collection titled ‘The Matador and The Fisherman’, presenting her modern vision of core menswear inspired by Spanish heritage, queer history and the evolving modern man she represents.
